Tiemoue Bakayoko Impressed Me At Burnley- Antonio Conte

If two target men are to be deployed at any stage then a natural left-footer on that flank is a must.

"The narrative that's been going on for a long time suggests things are not great".

With only Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho posting a better win ratio than Conte throughout the Premier League era, the 45-year-old should leave the capital with all the best wishes of Chelsea's fervent supporter base.

With the Blues five points off fourth-placed Tottenham with four games to play, and with Sunday's FA Cup semi-final to navigate, Moses insists there's still hope for Chelsea this season.

"But I think in the league they have so much pressure being near the bottom of the table, but in the FA Cup they've got nothing to lose and won't feel that same pressure if they go ahead". As it turned out, Conte was thoroughly vindicated by an excellent team performance.

Alvaro Morata's struggles continued on the day, as the Spanish international had a quality breakaway chance to seal the game early in the second half, but put his right-footed attempt wide of the goal.

The Stamford Bridge side has apparently been considering various candidates in recent months, including the likes of former FC Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, ex-Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel and Carlo Ancelotti.

"We played a good game against a difficult team because it is not simple to play against Burnley", Conte told BBC Sport.

Moses, who scored his third EPL goal of the season against Burnley on Thursday night, showed why he still can be trusted in the attacking front with a man of the match display, a good omen for Nigeria heading to the world cup. It is almost certainly too little, too late to affect their top-four ambitions though at least it highlights a benign spirit within the squad.
