The previously maligned Lovren has become a key man for the Reds in recent months, excelling in their run to the semi-finals of the Champions League. I would love if it would be because of a knock, but if it's because of a strain, tear or whatever, I have no clue.

The 28-year-old Lovren has made 36 appearances for Liverpool this season and scored in the reverse fixture at Bournemouth in December.

The England frontman may come up short to Salah in his bid for a third successive Premier League Golden Boot but looks set to fire Spurs to a top-four finish once again.

But, with potentially seven games remaining for his team, Salah may yet challenge Rush's all-time club record - 47 goals in a blistering 1983-84 campaign.

"It will be two difficult games because they are fantastic side", Klopp added.

"I watched the second leg against Barcelona - that was outstandingly good".

Roma sporting director Monchi believes the tie also offers the Italians hope of progress. "He's got to keep going and try to get as many as he can".

Defender Andy Robertson said ahead of the draw the team would take great confidence from their performances against the Premier League champions-elect into their next European encounter.

During a dominant first half, Liverpool created 10 goalscoring opportunities to Bournemouth's one and Mane's 18th goal of the season ultimately laid the foundations for a comfortable evening.

"It's a cracker, of course, a clash of giants in a positive sense", Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes said.
