Some excerpts from bombshell book against Trump

According to an excerpt from the book, Bannon calls a meeting with a group of Russians "treasonous", attended by Donald Trump Jr.

Trump responded quickly and cuttingly to the reported comments by Bannon, a former investment banker and the executive chairman of influential ultraconservative outlet Breitbart News. And I think it is very clear what its purpose is.

Trump tweeted Friday: "The Mercer Family recently dumped the leaker known as Sloppy Steve Bannon. One hundred percent of the people around him" question Trump's fitness for office, Wolff told NBC's "Today" show.

On Thursday, Wolff tweeted: "Here we go".

What is the difference between a cow, herd and cattle?

Michael Wolff's book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House", went on sale on Friday.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders is criticizing former White House adviser Steve Bannon, saying "we've seen a side that is frankly very, very disappointing". Trump said earlier this week that Bannon had "lost his mind". "I've spent about three hours with the President over the course of the campaign, and in the White House".

Both Seattle's locally owned and corporate bookstores have been inundated with requests for Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, the explosive new book by Michael Wolff detailing the drama inside of the Trump administration.

The embattled Republican president issued a response that was searing even by his combative standards.

Journalist Wolff, no stranger to controversy, quotes several key Trump aides expressing doubt about Trump's ability to lead the world's largest economy and military hegemony.

Sanders also called Wolf "a guy who made up a lot of stories to try and sell books".

"Whether he realized it was an interview or not, I don't know, but it certainly was not off the record", Wolff said.

"I went to the best colleges, or college, I had a situation where I was a very excellent student".

Trump said Bannon - who engineered the New York real estate mogul's link to the nationalist far right and helped create a pro-Trump media ecosystem - was "only in it for himself".

"Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn't as easy as I make it look".

Wolff said Friday he had spoken to Trump since the inauguration.

"Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books".

"The book is clearly going to be sold in the bargain fiction section". The publisher instead moved up the release date to Friday.

Bannon, who left the White House in August, is also quoted as saying that the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 election will focus on money laundering. But Putin couldn't give a shit about him.

US President Donald Trump unleashed a spectacular denunciation of one of his closest political allies Wednesday, describing former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon as insane and irrelevant.
