If Disney closed out 2017 with a stunning, multi-element experiential marketing campaign on behalf of Star Wars: The Last Jedi - light saber duels, treasure hunts, augmented reality - New York publishers Henry Holt & Co have kicked off 2018, perhaps inadvertently, with what might be the engagement campaign of the year, in support of Michael Wolff's book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, published today. Several shops in and around Washington were sold out Friday within minutes, including one that opened at midnight to release the book. "It certainly was not off the record", the Hill, quoted Wolff, as saying on NBC's 'Today Show'.
Donald Trump became a man who believed that he deserved to be, and was wholly capable of being, the president of the United States.
"I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius.and a very stable genius at that!" "But in a way, that's what makes it a perfect scandal for this White House", Noah said. The report says the president exploded in front of aides, saying he needed his attorney general to protect him. "We see 'Fire and Fury' as an extraordinary contribution to our national discourse, and are proceeding with the publication of the book".
"On Friday morning, author #Michael Wolff released his book "#Fire And Fury: Inside the Trump White House" which revealed potentially damaging information about the administration. In a sense there was one question on my mind when I began this book: "what is it like to work with Donald Trump, how can you work with Donald Trump, and how do you feel having worked with Donald Trump?"
One sticking point onlookers had on Trump's message was the fact he was actually at the White House - with the Oval Office just a short walk from the briefing room.
Some Trump allies also expressed satisfaction that Bannon appeared to be finally cast out of the president's inner circle.
Mr Trump's lawyers tried to block publication of the book, before publishers brought the release date forward. He just has to be satisfied in the moment.
Lee is the editor of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, written by 27 psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health professionals, which offers analysis of Trump's psychological state. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders went so far as to suggest that Bannon ought to be booted from Breitbart, the populist website he helps run. It's all about him... they say he's a moron. "I regret that my delay in responding to the inaccurate reporting regarding Don Jr has diverted attention from the president's historical accomplishments in the first year of his presidency".
The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump.I can't buy enough of this book. Plugged-in journalists blessed with advance copies had highlighted passages and tweeted photos of page after page.
Bannon's statement seemed aimed at trying to fix the rupture.
Among the inflammatory passages in "Fire and Fury" is former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon's speculation that a 2016 meeting that Trump's son and son-in-law held with Kremlin-linked figures was "treasonous". This is an incredibly strong and good leader.
"I've never questioned his mental fitness", Tillerson told CNN's Elise Labott. He said: "Once the book is seriously questioned, I think it will lose a lot of the credibility". Delighted I trouble Trump when comparing his presidency to Watergate. The White House suggested Breitbart News should "look at and consider" ousting Bannon as executive chairman.
