Apple iPhone X 3D Sensing Technology To Be Adopted By Rival Companies

07 Diciembre 2017

Consumer Reports has published its final iPhone X testing results and has given the Apple flagship smartphone a recommendation but ranked it below iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

On Tuesday, DigiTimes reported that the chairman and CEO of digital camera and imaging solution supplier Altek, Alex Hsia, is expecting strong demand for 3D sensing modules in the following years now that Apple has introduced Face ID with its iPhone X flagship phone. One of the iPhone X phones that specialists have tested had major back-glass damage.

While the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus ended up with fewer scrapes after the test, the front displays for all three iPhones came away unscathed.

Regardless of when it will come to fruition, there isn't that much time to wait, as January is just around the corner and before you know it, March will be upon us. The main reason of iPhone X lower rank than Samsung devices is their superior battery life.

Galaxy J5 Prime is one of the most successful mid-segment smartphones of Samsung.

The phone performed well in almost every category except durability, where it didn't hold up as well as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. It does not have the size or the features or the battery life but at $1000 dollars, the iPhone X is a vulnerable phone.

Also the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus scored higher than the iPhone X. Even though the iPhone X has a new FaceID feature to unlock the phone, animation compatibility, OLED screen and a glass back. It locked the ninth position on the list but the site says it failed to beat iPhone 8 or iPhone 8Plus. The other two similar smartphones suffered screen damage after 50. The Galaxy Note 5 November Patch is rolling out for all users in India.

It was the year of cutting-edge technology in phones and Apple surprised everyone with a triple release. Reports indicated that Samsung may release the Galaxy S9 sooner than planned.

Interestingly, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus fared better in Consumer Reports' comparison due to one possibly overlooked factor: durability.

Samsung also appears to be considering a new type of security feature for future devices: palm scanning.

That's an interesting result, considering several other outlets have found that the iPhone X was actually more durable than the iPhone 8.
