Portrait lighting, white balancing, new animated emoji called Animoji which can be customized through Apple's facial recognition technology and then sent to pals are just some of the features expected in the new iOS notes 9to5Mac.

Tech giant Apple will today host its much-awaited annual event at the Steve Jobs Theatre at its new headquarters in California. Along with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the iPhone X will lock arms with Samsung's best-selling Galaxy Note 8, LG's video-focused V30 and Google's upcoming Pixel 2 for smartphone supremacy. The new option is now listed in the iPhone Upgrade Program and it was first spotted by a forum member of Mac Rumors. The company will be marking its 10th anniversary with the launch of new model iPhone 8. Also for the first time ever an Apple phone will be launched with no home button.

Leaks have suggested that Apple will unveil its new Apple Watch that would feature LTE cellular chip. To watch, viewers must use Apple's Safari browser to access the stream. Will it feature wireless charging and come with the support for the Apple Pencil?

Most film and televisions in 4K run at 24FPS or 30FPS, so this new higher frame rate can enhance TV significantly in the coming years. You can also watch the event later on Apple TV by selecting the "Apple Events" channel from the main menu. For iOS users, they need to have Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 9.0 to catch the keynote speech. When it comes to Mac, users need to be on Safari on macOS v10.11 or later.

The Apple Special event 2017 will not stream on other company devices except Apple products.
