Motorola announces new Moto Mods, with new 360-degree camera mod

These new leak specs contradict the previous report that the Moto X4 smartphone will arrive with a Snapdragon 660 processor and a 3800mAh battery. The company recently announced some but more could be unveiled in the next events.

Motorola believes its release of the Moto Z2 Play smartphone will strengthen its position in the Southeast Asian market.

Waiting for new Motorola phones? Today, Motorola is a prominent name in the smartphone industry, thanks to its frequent launches starting like the Moto G, Moto C series. The slim handset will come with large bezels at the top and bottom portion of the display. Swipe left to go back, right to access recent apps, tap to go home, and use one long press to lock the phone.

The highlight feature on the smartphone is its dual camera setup on the rear end with an 8-megapixel and another 12-megapixel sensor.

On the other hand, the domestic e-commerce website, through a teaser on their website, has announced that their e-commerce platform will be the exclusive retail partner for the upcoming Moto E4 Plus smartphone.

Meanwhile, the aforementioned Moto Z2 Force could may also feature a pair of cameras on the back.

The 12-megapixel dual autofocus rear camera has a f/1.7 aperture, while the 5-megapixel front camera has a wider f/2.2 lens.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which supports microSD card up to 2TB.

According to Motorola, the Moto Z2 Play is available now in two colours: Lunar Gray and Fine Gold and retails at US$465 (RM1,999).

Though it is said to come with full metal-clad body, it will have IP68 water-and-dust resistant certification, meaning it can survive five feet underwater for close to 30 minutes.

The front face has a fingerprint sensor which also doubles as a navigation pad for the device, according to VentureBeat.
